THOUGHTS OF A GROWING CHILD: OUR HUSBAND HAS GONE MAD AGAIN

No doubt our husband has gone mad again. Yes he is mad and cannot be treated. Did i just hear Nana Addo is coming back in 2016? Did i hear Adama-say ask why he is coming back into the race after carving a glorious and enviable political niche as a statesman? Eih, is it true he will be chalking a glorious age of a life well spent by 2016?
These are the whispers on the streets of my motherland. This is the gossip around town and everyone is trying to make sense out of Nana Addo's declaration and i say Dzi wu fie as3m.
Many are they who think Nana Addo's life is riddled with controversy like Joseph’s coat of many colours and few are they who think his return into Ghana's political landscape can be equated to the second coming of the Messiah, sorry the Third coming of the Messiah and this is where i part ways with the ordinary Ghanaian to ask very pertinent questions.
1. Is Nana Addo coming to contest the primaries of NPP or he is coming to contest John Dramani Mahama for the Driver seat of the Yutong bus?
2. What alternative turbine is he bringing into our developmental truck?
3. Has Nana Addo really changed after seeking the face of God and Man?
4. Is Nana Addo going to seek blessings from Gentle JAK as he did from J.J in 2012?
Your guess might just be as good as mine and i seek to take a wild guess in attempt to answer questions 1 and 3.  For question 1, i think Nana is on his way to contest the NPP primaries and not JDM simple as A B C D and for question 3 i honestly think Nana Addo has changed after seeking the faces of God and men. Can’t you see? The man says he will be a young man at age 72 in 2016 and hence trimmed all his baggy clothes. For your information, he no longer struggles to fully fit in his "Shada".

Hail thee the supreme ruler of the 197th country in the world, "The People’s Republic of Legon" his royal majesty Prof. Ayitey Iddi Amin. The clouds are getting darker and the waters muddier as the hours pass by. If you care to know, this new republic is a state within the territories of another republic, the republic of Ghana and as for the choice of name and title for its supreme leader the less said about them the better.  This new Republic has become the grand choir master of torment for its citizens and to use its roads, one will have to pay a little over 200 dollars.  Please do not ask me how much it will take to acquire a residential permit? Well for all I know u can’t roam the streets of the republic of Legon without some financial bruises.

Y3 mamu dums) ooooooooo.....Yaa mahama. kikikiki. The menace of dumsor dumsor has rolled out its ugly nose again. The Macmillan dictionary defines Dumsor as the condition where one pays his electricity bills and sleeps in darkness. This menace is the least of the litany of troubles to hit Mahama land this year. The fires and burning of markets did not stop even though we parted with some dollars for some 2 by 4 committee work. The collapsing of storey buildings continued amidst vexatious promises of the president. The hijack of the cedi by Motia cannot be forgotten either.

In other reports, the Ghana's ambassadorial offices in Japan are now a casino. hahahahaha...like seriously? A Casino?
Less I forget please inform the President that Ghanaian's are suffering and also remind him of the return of grand paa Nana Akuffo Addo into the country and his desire to Unseat him in fulfilment of his childhood dream.
However it is my prayer that the ordinary Ghanaian finds a non-retiring profession like Nana Addo.

A WHISPER INTO THE EAR OF THE PRESIDENT:NATIONAL SERVICE OR NATIONAL SUFFERING-A RIDICULE OF PATRIOTISM

Many are they who will ridicule my words yet I must say them as my quota towards the development of mother Ghana. These words may never leave the 4 corners of this page; nonetheless, the puff of their blast and the wind around may carry them and mould them to suit current trends of development to the intended destination.
National service as a call to national duty by gallant graduates of mother Ghana has in recent times lost its value and intended purposes for which the ambition was hatched and crafted. The crafty minds of the framers of the NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME had in mind a refined model and methodology of instilling in the youth of this nation a sense of patriotism, nationalism and selfless commitment towards the development of the country. Today the story is different. No wonder the adage goes “the good old days”. Definitely the old days will forever remain good and better than the present. Gone are the times national service persons were treated as national heroes. They were herald by anyone, everyone, and anywhere. This motivated and inspired the young ones to put in their best when at post.
Today, at the blind side of the Guinness book of records and behind the graves of the pioneers of the NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME is the sorrowful plight of young men and gallant women who have left their homes to other parts of the nation in response to the call of national duty. It is unfortunate to note that a greater number of graduates have been rejected by the institutions they were posted to  in a direct response to the inadequate, insufficient, ineffective and inefficient system operated by the national service secretariat of Ghana. The system of posting people without considering their academic background and expertise has resulted in a very low reception from destination offices. Imagine a herbal medicine student posted to ministry of roads and highways. It is not funny that is the real situation on the ground. It is in view of this that the National Service Secretariat must work on improving their posting template and methodology to help churn out the best in the young graduates of this nation.
I feel am listening to a scene in a night of a 1000 laughs show when stakeholders speak of YOUTH DEVELOPMENT. Well, that might be a very good intent but with the current plight of NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONS in this country, I think nothing was done, nothing has been done and it looks like nothing will be done to improve the plight of the YOUTH of this nation. Anyways who is/are the youth? Who are those they are going to create the jobs for? Who are the so-called future leaders of Nkrumah land? It will shock you to know that the answer to these questions zeros down to today’s national service persons. In the midst of the increase in tariffs, utility bills, taxes (direct and indirect) and a ridicule of salary increment (JUST 10%), the little allowance of the national service persons is not forth coming not to talk of an INCREAMENT leaving every one hanging and roasting from the current economic tsunami in the country. Anyways it is just appropriate to tell the president that if the youth must be developed it should start from the pockets of the national service person. The current economic tenets just make it appropriate to increase the “small small” allowance of national service persons of this country.
To the few who have lost their lives trying to locate posted destinations, I say rest in peace and my condolence to the families. In the same pane, to those who have lost personal belongings both physical and emotional, I say you are just victims of the UNCARING, UNSYMPATHETIC, WITCH-HUNTING, DOMANT and UNPATRIOTIC system operated by the NATIONAL SERVICE SECREATARIATE.
Just wait for;
1. The sit down strike of national service persons.
2. The emergence of CONSEP (Concerned National Service Persons)
3. Alliance for Restoring the dignity of National Service Scheme.
DON’T LOOSE FOCUS OF PROPHERT T.B JOSHUAHS GLOBAL YOUTH REVOLUTION.
With this message I know I have given room to crafty minds to twist this message in their favor for propaganda seek and to lay me for crucifixion considering my ideological leanings. But as I always say to my friends: MAKA MAKA.  This message will remain clear and unambiguous for ill purposes.
THANK YOU.
